The Work Lab has developed software for personal skills assessment in the training and employment markets. This self assessment software is based on solution focused counselling methodologies that promote the recognition and development of personal strengths and competence. Through using the Skills Assessment software, clients can identify their personal strengths, career goals and pathways into employment .

Employment Providers Tool Box

  The Employment Providers Tool Box is an integrated resume builder, training plan generator and occupational matching software application. This software meets the requirements of an Employment Pathway Plan and links the national training system with jobs and career pathways.

Employability Skills Assessment

Technical expertse or competency is not suffificent for a career in modern business. The employment prospects of school leavers, return to work parents and career changes increases if they have well developed employability skills.

 

This assessment tool measures competency attainment against a key set of employability skills. Candidates complete an online self-assessment and are required to demonstrate their competency through recognition of prior learning (RPL). Successful completion of RPL leads to a statement of attainment.

 

 

Business Skills Assessments

The Work Lab also has a range of software applications to assess skill gaps in small business, as well as medium to large enterprises. This software identifies just-in-time training needs and supports competency based human resource management practices.

Small Business Health Check

The Small Business Health Check identifies training and development needs in a business planning context. The Small Business Health Check is used by the Queensland Government Small Business Solutions service.

The TNA Tool Box is an easy-to-use software package that relies on tried and tested methodology to facilitate Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for medium to large size businesses or organizations.
